FAQ
Questions, answered.
Is Zeplee free?
Yes. Sending files and using spaces is free for everyone. Zeplee is supported by unobtrusive ads.
Do I need an account?
No. Guests can send files up to 10 GB and open spaces without signing up. A free account raises the limit to 25 GB a day and unlocks links that never expire.
What's the difference between a link and a space?
A link is one file with one URL, best for sending something to someone. A space is a shared room at zeplee.com/session/your-name where everyone who joins can drop files, write notes and sketch on a whiteboard together.
How long are files kept?
You choose: 24 hours or 3 days. Signed-in users can also keep files forever. Expired files are deleted automatically.
Can I choose my own link?
Yes. Pick “Customize link” after choosing a file and set any available address, like zeplee.com/q3-report.
Is my data secure?
Every transfer is encrypted in transit over HTTPS, spaces can be password-protected, and we never sell or scan your files for advertising.
